On this snowy November 5th 2024 in Salt Lake City we remember Hannah Grace on her birthday.
We feel equal parts joy and melancholy today. We remember the loving and funny girl that brought light to everyone around her. We remember her generosity and kindness towards the underdog. We remember her desire to seek out and connect with those that were outcast and unseen. We think about the four lives that have been forever changed by Hannah’s organ donation. We celebrate with these four families the anniversary of this gift.
We also mourn our sweet Hannah. We imagine grief like waves on the ocean. These waves won’t ever stop, but there is beauty in the sadness of remembering her. We miss her every day.
We visited the DonorConnect Celebration of Life monument and decorated the brick that was placed in her honor. The glitter would definitely be Hannah approved!
