#GivingTuesday is here!

#GivingTuesday has arrived! In the next 24 hours we are looking to raise $2500 to support our mission. Our anonymous donor will MATCH that amount!
Remember, we are helping those with the disease of addiction continue their recovery, and create a prosperous future for themselves with education and job training. The LHGF is filling a gap in recovery care and we cannot do this without you.

Giving Tuesday and Matching Donations

You’ve heard about #BlackFriday and #CyberMonday. What about #GivingTuesday? The Love, Hannah Grace Foundation is participating in this international day of giving to support those in recovery. With your generosity, we can help them receive career and job training just when they need it most. And boy do we have some great news to share!
On Giving Tuesday, an anonymous donor has agreed to match the first $2500 donated!
We are working with the College of Southern Nevada, to establish a scholarship in Hannah’s name. CSN offers 2 and 4 year degrees as well as training in various trades. $2500 pays for tuition for one year! With your help and the matching donation, we have the potential to award TWO scholarships next year at CSN. Every donation, of every size will help us achieve this goal.
Stay up to date with all things Giving Tuesday by following us, and please click share and spread the word. As always, thank you for your support!

Made our first disbursement!

The Love, Hannah Grace Foundation is thrilled to announce our first disbursement! We had the privilege of presenting a $5000 gift to Hoving Home yesterday. The award will help fund their Career Lab and Leadership Academy.
As we researched organizations and decided where to make our first donation, we had a lot to learn. We fell in love with the people and mission of Hoving Home, and got to know Beth Greco the CEO, and Jen Golden the Community Engagement Coordinator. They answered our endless questions and met with us multiple times as we made our decision. Today we are proud to call them both friends and support this program. We know Hannah would love what they do and approve of our choice.
We could not have done this without all of our donors and the support that many of you have shown us on our journey so far. We appreciate all of you and it felt amazing to honor Hannah in such a tangible way. We look forward to giving more money away in the coming months so please keep your eyes peeled.
We took a few (dozen) pictures and videos. We will share some videos soon, but tonight we are smiling as we think of Hannah and how much she would endorse all that we are doing in her honor.

Celebrating Hannah

On this snowy November 5th 2024 in Salt Lake City we remember Hannah Grace on her birthday.
We feel equal parts joy and melancholy today. We remember the loving and funny girl that brought light to everyone around her. We remember her generosity and kindness towards the underdog. We remember her desire to seek out and connect with those that were outcast and unseen. We think about the four lives that have been forever changed by Hannah’s organ donation. We celebrate with these four families the anniversary of this gift.
We also mourn our sweet Hannah. We imagine grief like waves on the ocean. These waves won’t ever stop, but there is beauty in the sadness of remembering her. We miss her every day.
We visited the DonorConnect Celebration of Life monument and decorated the brick that was placed in her honor. The glitter would definitely be Hannah approved!
Please consider signing up to be an organ donor. There are so many people and families that will be forever grateful for your parting gift.

Our first official event!

We are thrilled to share that the Love, Hannah Grace Foundation participated in our first fundraising event. JT4 hosted a Charity Golf Scramble Tournament and allowed us to be a part of it. They host a golf tournament every year on Columbus Day and the money raised helps the Dana Lescher Fund which aims to defray costs for children undergoing Leukemia treatment.
We hosted a Hole-in-One contest and raised funds for our own LHGF. It was our first foray into this space and it was a definite success! Making connections, sharing about Hannah, and sharing our mission made for a fulfilling day. We hope to make it an annual event!
We will be making our first award in the coming weeks. We can’t wait to share more!
